Structural Composition of the Belt-Type Shot Blasting Machine

The workpiece is placed on a stainless-steel mesh conveyor belt, which transports it at a constant speed through a sealed blasting chamber. A shot-blasting unit propels abrasive media at high velocity toward the workpiece surface, where impact forces remove scale, rust, and burrs. The spent abrasive and debris fall through the mesh openings and are collected by an underfloor recovery system for recirculation, while a dust-collection device simultaneously captures airborne dust, thereby enabling clean production.
The structural composition of a belt-type shot blasting machine mainly includes the following components:
I. Core Components
Shot blaster
As the core “power source,” it uses a high-speed rotating impeller to propel abrasive media onto the workpiece surface, removing scale, rust, and burrs. Typically, 1–3 units are installed, with the number adjustable based on specific requirements.
Stainless steel mesh belt
Responsible for conveying workpieces, transporting them at a constant speed through the shot-blasting chamber to ensure all surfaces—top and bottom, inner and outer—are thoroughly cleaned during movement. Resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, making it suitable for handling workpieces in humid and highly corrosive environments.
Cleaning Room
The enclosed chamber protects and harnesses the rebound of abrasive media, while minimizing noise and dust dispersion. Its interior is lined with high-strength, wear-resistant alloy liners, reducing maintenance frequency and maximizing the repeated impact of steel shot on the workpiece.
Dust Removal System
Promptly extract and remove dust generated during operations to maintain a clean workshop environment. Baghouse dust collectors are typically used, with filtration efficiencies exceeding 99%.
II. Auxiliary Components
Conveying device
It comprises components such as the drive mechanism, gearbox, and motor, and is responsible for conveying the workpiece into the cleaning chamber.
Material-feeding device
Distribute the shot media evenly into the shot blaster to ensure optimal blasting performance.
Ammunition feeder
Includes a shot storage bin that supplies shot to the shot blaster.
Control System
One-touch start; adjustable conveyor belt speed and shot-blasting intensity to accommodate various workpiece requirements.
III. Operating Principle
The workpiece is placed on a stainless-steel mesh conveyor belt, which transports it at a constant speed through a sealed blasting chamber. A shot-blasting unit propels abrasive media at high velocity onto the workpiece surface, where impact forces remove scale, rust, and burrs. The spent abrasive and debris fall through the mesh openings and are collected by a downstream recovery system for recirculation, while a dust-collection device simultaneously captures airborne particulates, thereby enabling clean production.
